刘春吉教授，澳大利亚CSIR0的Honorary Fellow、高级科学家，受聘为西澳大学、塔斯马尼亚大学和湖南大学兼职教授。1991年，在英国剑桥大学获得博士学位，师从国际著名小麦分子遗传学家Dr. Mike Gale。1993至今，在CSIRO从事麦类作物基因组结构和进化以及抗病分子育种研究。在New Phytologist、Plant Biotechnology Journal等期刊发表论文300余篇。担任The Crop Journal等杂志编委。2022年受聘为我校作物学“111项目”专家。
